Angelic Berry, 32, of Worcester, is charged with armed robbery and resisting arrest following the alleged early morning stick-up, Worcester police said.

The man said he was driving on Main Street when he heard a woman cry out for help around 6 a.m., police said. He said he went to check on the woman with firey red hair, and she pulled out a knife and demanded all of his money.

The wannabe good Samaritan gave police a description of his mugger, and they soon found her on Oread St. They arrested her, but she refused to go with them and fought to keep from being put in the wagon, police said.

A search of court records shows Berry was previously charged with armed robbery with a knife in September 2018, though it's unclear if she was convicted.
